MILO T20 Blast is a modified version of cricket with participation the focus, for both boys and girls teams and fun is an important element.
Free hits, extra runs for scoring in the double zone, bonus points for wickets gained are all rules for the modified game, which sees accurate bowling, sixes and 12s hit, as well as plenty of classic catches.
Schools who participated in the Stawell MILO T20 Blast School Cup Carnival included Stawell Primary School, Pomonal Primary, Great Western Primary, Concongella Primary, St Patrick's School and Halls Gap Primary.
Stawell Primary School were the dominant team on the day winning both divisions.
Stawell Primary defeated their own second team to claim the boys title, while they defeated St Patrick's to win the girls title.
Winners of the Grade 5/6 Carnival in each of the boys and girls competitions will progress through to the Region Finals in Ballarat tomorrow.
Winners from Ballarat, Ararat, Castlemaine, Gisborne, Geelong, Colac, Maryborough and Stawell Regional Carnivals participate to make it through to the State Finals of the MILO T20 Blast at the MCG on December 6.
