The ballot draw for Ripon was conducted at the election office located in the Federation University building in Sloane Street.
Completed electronically, the draw was witnessed by a number of Stawell residents, along with Ripon candidates Louise Staley and Daniel McGlone.
Scott Turner drew the number one position on the ballot paper, followed at number two by Peter Mulcahy from the Rise Up Australia Party and then ALP candidate Daniel McGlone in third.
The remaining five candidates in order of ballot are Mitchell Lee (Democratic Labour Party), Louise Staley (Liberal), Kevin Loiterton (Australian Christians), Rod May (Greens), Trevor Domaschenz (Australian Country Alliance) and Danielle Fowler (Family First).
Pre-poll voting in the state election commenced yesterday and several of the candidates for the seat of Ripon were in attendance at the early polling centre in Stawell, located at the Federation University building, handing out how to vote information.
Victorians will go to the polls in the state election on Saturday, November 29.
Voters can vote early at any early voting centre. One hundred early voting centres have opened across the state, including the Federation University building in Stawell and will operate until 6pm on Friday, November 28.
