The inaugural Y-Zetts car boot sale is being held between 8am and 12 noon on Sunday in the carpark area bounded by Centrelink, Scallan Street, Stawell Drycleaners and Clark's Furniture.
A car boot sale is just a big garage sale without all the work. It's easy - Just bring your car and new or unwanted items, open your boot and start selling.
The Y-Zetts car boot sale will be held every third Sunday of the month. Fees are $10 per single site and are payable on the day.
"There is no need to book, or to reserve a place, stall holders are welcome on a first-in-first-served basis," Y-Zetts president, Helena Nicholson said.
"The market site is sealed. Umbrellas and tarpaulins will need to be tethered with sand bags."
While this is the fi rst car boot sale, the Y-Zetts are sure it will be a hit.
"There is definitely interest in these types events by the community, we look forward to running this for many years to come," Ms Nicholson said.
