Harness Racing Victoria, together with the Ovarian Cancer Foundation, have been wearing teal coloured driving pants at all race meetings across Victoria to raise awareness.
Last Saturday night at Tabcorp Park Melton featured the girls night out raising money for the foundation.
With the help of Hyland Sportswear the driving pants are free to all female drivers in the state.
At last Thursday's Stawell meeting our leading drivers stepped out in the colours to add a splash of colour.
Harness Racing Victoria have been supporting this cause since 2010 when Lyn McPherson passed away from the disease.
Lyn was a great supporter of harness racing along with her husband Duncan McPherson who continues in the harness racing industry.
Saturday night's function helped raise awareness of the disease and the work the Ovarian Cancer Foundation does within the community.
Stawell Harness Racing Club congratulate our local female drivers who took part in the great awareness program during the month of March.
