ANZ has launched 'Netball Nation', a new initiative designed to support the sport at all levels in Australia by encouraging participation and providing access to much-needed funding and equipment.
Coinciding with round one of the ANZ Championship season, the new Netball Nation Grant Scheme will promote and support netball communities around the country.
Members of the Stawell netball community of all ages and skill levels are invited to apply for Netball Nation grants, including equipment, uniforms, ASICS netball shoes and tickets to ANZ Championship matches.
More than 50 grants will be awarded throughout the 2014 netball season, including a select number of bespoke grants.
ANZ is also proud to present Netball Nation Fun Days held around the country, these fun days will be open to all Stawell children aged 5 - 13 and their families, and will provide people with an opportunity to be introduced to the game in a friendly, festival-style environment featuring guest appearances from heroes of the game.
Supporting Netball Nation will be three ANZ Ambassadors, Former Australian Netball Diamonds Captain Sharelle McMahon, current coach of the Australian Netball Diamonds Lisa Alexander and Laura Geitz the current captain of the Australian Netball Diamonds.
ANZ Netball Nation Ambassador Sharelle McMahon said "Australia is a nation filled with people who love netball and it's wonderful to see ANZ supporting all levels of the sport, from junior to social, right up to the elite level."
