The magpie which is brown and white in colour has been sighted for more than a year now wandering along lawns and nature strips in the Houston Street area.
It was first noticed as a baby and stood out among its peers as it was fed by its black and white mother.
Residents continue to report seeing the brown and white magpie near the Leisure Complex and it remains a topic of many conversations.
It isn't alone in its uniquities, residents living in Cooper Street last year noticed the arrival of a white magpie. They continue to enjoy its company too.
