Traffic will be using both the east and west bridges to allow the upgrade works to be completed.
Melbourne-bound drivers will be returned to the east bridge. Adelaide-bound drivers will continue to use one lane on the west bridge.
Signs will be in place to advise of the changed traffic conditions.
Minor delays are expected and drivers are still encouraged to plan their trips in advance and leave early, particularly during morning peak periods.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times on the east bridge.
The project is expected to be completed by April 2014. For more information on the project, visit the website at vicroads.vic.gov.au/Wimmera.
