Bureau of Meteorology Senior Forecaster Michael Efron said Friday will be the wettest day of the week.
"We'll see pretty cold temperatures as well," he said.
"Well below the average we normally see this time of year."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Rain is expected on Thursday, November 11 through to Monday, November 15 for Ararat, Stawell and Wimmera.
On Sunday, there is cold front coming across the state coming from the south west.
"There will be a burst of colder air, with temperatures 6 to 14 degrees below average across the state," Mr Efron said.
"There will be cold conditions with pretty strong southwesterly winds."
The cold weather conditions should settle by Tuesday, November 16.
