Welcome to the live blog for day one of the anti-corruption hearings into allegations against former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian involving millions of dollars in grants to Wagga Wagga institutions.
The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) will be looking into whether Ms Berejiklian breached public trust by having an involvement in awarding the grants while in a secret relationship at the time with then Wagga MP Daryl Maguire.
The grants involved $5.5 million to the Australian Clay Target Association to build The Range function centre in Wagga Wagga, in the NSW Riverina, and $30 million to relocate the Riverina Conservatorium of Music and build a new recital hall complex.
Ms Berejiklian has denied the allegations, saying that she acted with integrity at all times.
