The Demons' centre tallied 20 votes, including six best-on-courts, to finish three votes ahead of Kaniva-Leeor's Elizabeth Hawker (17 votes) and six votes ahead of Harrow-Balmoral's Kirby Knight.
After seven rounds, Hawker led the count by four votes on 16, with Jones on just six; however over the final five rounds the Demon went onto poll 14 votes, while Hawker could only muster the one.

The award isn't the first piece of silverware Jones has received this year after she was recently named as the Best Opposition Player alongside Edenhope-Apsley's Dulcie Shirrefs.
Laharum went the entire regular season undefeated and Jones will no doubt be hoping the HDFNL can return soon, so the Demons can defend their title.
