Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner said the party in Howard Springs at the Darwin Waterfront on Tuesday was a fitting way to end 14-days in quarantine.
Emma McKeon collected seven medals at the Tokyo Games, becoming the first Australian to win four golds at a single Olympics event.
Her Olympic career total of 11 medals broke the Australian record.
"The Tokyo games may be the greatest ever, despite the delay, lack of crowds, and COVID, our Olympians displayed not just athletic excellence but humanity," Mr Gunner said in a statement.
"As a nation we needed these games to lift us and unite us and remind us that everyone can strive for that Olympic ideal of stronger further faster."
Australia's Olympians are undergoing mandatory isolation to prevent a further spread of COVID-19 which forced NSW into a statewide lockdown on Saturday.
About 10 Olympians are expected to grace the Waterfront stage for interviews while a big screen will be set-up from 3pm onwards.
McKeon will be accompanied by 23-year-old Kyle Chalmers who won one silver medal and two bronze in the pool, and Bronte Campbell who helped her freestyle relay team win gold.
