A fixture quirk sees no byes in this grade so their season continued with a trip to Talbot to face the Hawks.
In a high standard match between two sides sitting third and fourth on the ladder, Talbot held Navarre at arms length for the first three quarters.
Despite both teams enjoying the same number of scoring shots, the Hawks held a 15-point three-quarter time margin.
However the Grasshoppers came out firing on all cylinders in the final term, kicking 4.3 while holding the Hawks to a single point, leading them to an 11-point win.

Heath Senior was the destroyer for Navarre, kicking all eight of their goals, while Fraser Dunn, Bradley Carter and Will Moloney all continued their good form to be named among the better players as the Grasshoppers won their fourth straight match.
Their loss being a four-point thriller against the Hawks in round eight.
The club will return to action with a trip to Dunolly, where all sides will be looking to get back on the winning list.
OTHER NEWS:
The Under-11's, who are playing much better football than their ninth position on the ladder would imply, will take on the tenth placed Eagles.
With Dunolly not fielding Under-14 or Under-17 teams the Under-14 Grasshoppers will look to make it five in a row as they take on Royal Park, while the Under-17 side enjoy an extra bye weekend.
Meanwhile in the later games, Navarre's tenth placed reserves will look to turn their run of better recent form into a well-earned win against twelfth ranked Dunolly.
While the senior team, also sitting tenth, will be looking for their fourth win of the year against the bottom of the table Eagles.
