Great Western made the long drive to Caramut worth their time by taking a clean sweep in the netball.

The Lions A Grade had a strong win, 65-24 with goalies Jordyn Leggett and Jordan Austin setting the tone for the game in the first quarter shooting some superb goals.

Half time saw some serious changes made to the team moving Jordyn Leggett into defence and mid-courter Courtney Morrow into Goal Attack.

The sun appeared later in the day and it didn't deter the shooters in the final term as they scored another 18 goals to finish off.

Jordyn Austin and Courtney Morrow were rewarded for their games being named best players with Megan Johnson and Nicole Weston Caramut's best players.

Tatyoon welcomed SMW Rovers to Tatyoon where they won four out of six games for the day.

A strong first and final quarter for Tatyoon shooters Maggie Astbury and Lauren Mccarthy certainly gave Tatyoon an exceptional start.

Defensive pressure from Alice Astbury and Meagan Durling helped keep the ball from entering the Rovers' goal ring.

Alice and Maggie Astbury were named best players for Tatyoon with Taylah Fisher and Courtney Guy playing well for Rovers.

At Alexandra Oval, Penshurst had a clean sweep winning all six games for the day.

A Grade had the biggest winning margin for the day defeating Ararat by a whopping 41 goals 67-26.

With only one goal in it at quarter-time, Penshurst woke up and didn't look back with some outstanding shooting in the second half by goalies Rachael Mibus and Chloe Uebergang.

Mid-courters Lisa Haddow and Caroline Rafferty played well for Ararat with Rachael Mibus and Laura Robinson being named best players for Penshurst.

C Grade was the closest senior game for the day with Penshurst winning 37-23.

Junior Libby Rentsch played another strong game again being named in the best.

At Caramut, Great Western's B Grade also had a strong win 44-20 shifting them into fifth spot on the ladder.

Amy Millar and Dana Humphrey started the game strong along with defender Georgia Notting.

Caramut picked up the pressure in the second quarter thanks to some excellent defence from Rebecca Mann.

Some changes to the Lions team in the second quarter saw their strongest quarter with defenders Jacqui Ralph and Tayla Notting keeping Caramut to only four goals.

Amy Millar and Georgia Notting were awarded best players for the Lions for their strong games with Rebecca Mann and Kaitlyn Russell Caramut's best players.

B Grade was the closest game of the day at Tatyoon with the Rovers' midcourt defence and solid shooting from Zoe Wagstaff helping to increase the lead each quarter, resulting in a win 31-20.

Ella Wood and Lexie Carter played well for Tatyoon with Leesa Hamilton and Zoe Wagstaff being named best players for Rovers.
