The number of active COVID-19 cases in the community has fallen to 24, the state's chief health officer has confirmed.
Professor Brett Sutton has addressed reporters in Melbourne, telling them work is continuing to test people living in the Kings Park townhouse complex on Southbank, where several cases of the virus have been confirmed.
Professor Sutton also urged people requiring a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine to book their appointment.

Of the 95,000 people due to have their second dose this week a little over half have their injection booked, Professor Sutton said.
"The job is not finished, we need you to do it one more time... Two doses finishes the job."

VICTORIA has recorded no new COVID-19 cases overnight as the number of people with the virus falls to 51.
Two cases were recorded in hotel quarantine.
Another 15,339 Victorians have received a vaccine in a 24-hour period..

Australia's head of vaccine rollout Lieutenant General John Frewen said state premiers had now been given a detailed breakdown of what supplies they should expect.
He anticipated a major ramp up in doses from August and into October.
Mr Cameron also raised concerns about people becoming more reluctant to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine after the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation last week recommended changes to age quotas to anyone over 60-years.
"This is an issue and we know that, but for people over 60 the vaccine is safe," he said.
Meanwhile, 13,176 Victorians were tested for COVID-19 in the 24 hours to midnight.
