VICTORIA has recorded five new locally cases of COVID-19 overnight as the number of active cases rose from 54 to 55.
The state has recorded another three cases acquired overseas, the Department of Health says.
All are currently in hotel quarantine.
The five new locally-acquired cases include two announced yesterday and three further cases linked to current outbreaks.
The state's vaccination blitz continues with 14,870 people receiving a dose on Sunday and another 17,538 tested for the virus.
