Two men will face court after police executed a search warrant at a Stawell property on Monday morning.

Acting Senior Sergeant Eddie Malpas said officers executed the search warrant at a Patrick Street address, where they allegedly located drugs believed to be cannabis and GHB, as well as a number of controlled weapons after forcing entry to the property.

Acting Senior Sergeant Malpas said two males aged in their thirties were arrested and charged with a range of drugs and weapon offences.
Both males were bailed to appear at the Stawell Magistrates' Court at a later date.
"This action is part of the commitment Stawell Police have to the local community in attempting to reduce high impact harm and associated crime in the region," Act Snr Sgt said.
"We ask that if anyone in the community has information they believe may relate to offending in the region, that they contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
