Players from Stawell and surrounds have hit the greens at the Stawell Golf Club for the 2021 edition of the Ladies Championships.

The Championships were held over 54 holes with the three rounds of the tournament played each Wednesday during May.
It was a tight battle at the top of the table, but after shooting the best score of the final round of the tournament, Jo Orr claimed another Stawell Golf Club Ladies Championship title.
Leading into the final round Jo Orr (175) held a slender lead over Carole McKendrick (179) with Lyn Willcock (186) and Tania Dignan (186) in the chasing pack.

But Orr held her nerve in the final round to shoot a 78 off the stick (nett 71), for a total score of 253, enough to extend her winning lead.
In the B Grade Del Gray (286) was the winner, while Delcie Baggs (343) scored the C Grade Champion win.
Del Gray's win adds another B Grade Championship to her tally, while Delcie Baggs proved age is just a number, winning her first championship.
In the 54 Hole Handicap, Carole McKendrick (231) scored the A Grade win, Del Gray (229) won the B Grade title and Delcie Baggs (229) also claimed both C Grade wins.
