Methylamphetamine, also known as ice and cannabis were found during the search of a house on Warren Street.

A 38-year-old female from Stawell was arrested for allegedly possessing drugs and was charged and bailed to attend court at a later date.

Acting Sergeant Shane Pettingill thanked the public for the information received which led to the successful detection of illegal drugs within the community.

"Any person who has information in relation to illegal drug activity can report the matter confidently and anonymously to crime stoppers," he said.

"If you are using/possessing or selling illegal drugs it will only be a matter of time before police catch you."
