Stawell Primary School is set to receive funding which will allow them to show their respects each and everyday, with the school to install three new flagpoles.

The school said for several years their single flagpole had been broken, with students carrying the three flags from the front foyer to their place outside for assemblies and then returning them.
The school is the recipient of $2,000 funding under the Australian Government's Saluting Their Service grants program to help commemorate Australian war time history.
Stawell Primary School principal Robyn Jones said the new flag poles will play a major part in the school's future ceremonies.
"ANZAC and Remembrance Day Services are an important part of our school history, which was the reason for our application," Ms Jones said.

"We want to create a commemorative area within our school grounds, to not only recognise former 502 students and staff who fought in wars, but as an area where community members can also reflect.
"This is particularly important as we have our Gallipoli tree growing in the school grounds.
"Gaining funding for the three flagpoles is an essential part of this project. We are certainly very appreciative and grateful to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
"I would also like to thank Amelia Kingston for her continued support of our school in applying for this Grant on our behalf."

Stawell Primary School students said they were looking forward to have the three new flag poles in place.
"It will be nice to be able to finally fly the three flags and pay our respects each day," Vice-Captain Meika said.
Member for Wannon Dan Tehan congratulated Stawell Primary School on receiving the grant.
"Wannon has a proud military background and the actions of the Stawell Primary School contribute to preserving that history for future generations," Mr Tehan said.
"I would like to congratulate Stawell Primary School for their successful grant submission, and encourage other organisations in our community of Wannon to get involved in future rounds and consider submitting an application for any upcoming projects."
