A 23-year-old man has been taken to Ballarat Hospital with suspected spinal injuries after his car flipped over on the corner of Seaby Street and Darcy Street at about 2.15am on Sunday (May 9).

A Stawell Police spokesperson said officers were working to determine the cause of the incident.
"The vehicle was travelling south along Seaby Street," they said.

"For unknown reasons, he has lost control and it appears he has run up the centre median strip and the car has rolled over.
"We'll need to investigate further to find out the cause."
The man was taken to Ballarat Hospital via ambulance soon after the incident, though his injuries were not believed to be serious.
