Stawell residents and surrounds will get the chance to sample some Southern "Rock'in-Rootsy" country and blues music with US guitarist Bo Jenkins coming to the The Diamond House in Stawell.

Jenkins' music reflects the richness of a life playing on riverboats and in the bars and clubs of the famous Mississippi Delta region which has bred music legends including Johnny Cash, Sonny Boy Williamson, Elvis Presley and Charlie Rich.
His shows benefit from years playing with the likes of B.B King to Reba McIntyre.
Jenkins has performed at most major music festivals including Byron Bay Blues and Roots, Gympie Muster to the Thredbo Blues Festival to name a few.

For the aficionados, Jenkins is a left handed up-side-down player, incorporating lots of slide guitar and favours "Aussie brands".
Jenkins does a mix of originals off of his four CD's to classics from Cash, Hendrix, maybe even Credence and Queen.
Some of his tracks from Let My Eyes See Arkansas and Mamas Got a Switch have been given great reviews from newspapers to music magazines.
Jenkins is working on another album while he is touring in Australia.
He will be performing at the Diamond House Stawell, on Saturday, May 22nd 8pm until late.
