On Sunday May 16 the grand piano at the Stawell Entertainment Centre will be open to the public with 12 x 25 minute sessions available for people to book to play on this instrument.
Music teachers are welcome to bring their students, young and old.
Those who have ever tickled the ivories are also welcome to come along and enjoy the day and support SPACi.
The open day will be followed by a piano concert by Jack L Stacey from Ballarat, who will play a collection of classical pieces.

Stacey will perform renditions of Sergei Rachmaninov - Prelude in C-Sharp Minor Op. 3, No. 2, Claude-Michel Schnberg - "One Day More" from Les Misérables and Jack L. Stacey - "Ode to Beethoven" [2019] (Piano Solo).
SPACi said they are hoping there will be good support for the event, which will help continue to provide access to the grand piano to the community and keep it in tune and good repair.
From 9am-3pm, players of all abilities are welcome to book a session to use the grand piano - teachers for lessons, students to play or just have a look. Supporters are welcome.

Then from 4-5pm Jack L Stacey will perform with all participants, supporters and audience strongly recommended to pre-purchase tickets and book time slots to avoid disappointment as numbers are limited due to COVID safe requirements.
COVID-safe requirements are in place so pre-purchasing of tickets is encouraged, as spaces are limited.
Tickets available through trybooking or cash sales at Stawell Neighbourhood House.
