The $20 million AgriLinks upgrade program will provide funding to local council's looking to widen and reconstruct roads that carry heavy vehicles used to transport farm produce.
Under the program, $117,000 will go towards upgrading the Scollary and Rinaldi Road intersection to improve maneuverability of heavy vehicles and connection to the Wimmera Highway.
An additional $280,000 will go towards strengthening Scollary's Bridge to allow the passage of heavy vehicles. Backwater Bridge will receive $290,000.

Minister for Agriculture Mary-Anne Thomas announced the scheme and said the funding would help producers grow their businesses.
"Improving the roads and infrastructure used by farmers and producers will help them grow their businesses by reaching more customers more quickly, contributing to the overall growth of the sector," she said.
"This investment in local road upgrades will get more people back to work on projects that benefit all road users, particularly farmers and producers, who need to travel long distances to connect with customers and markets."
The AgriLinks program is part of the Victorian government's $2.7 billion Building Works recovery program.
