Gourmet Traveller has announced its 2021 Best Cellar Door Award winners for the Grampians and Henty region.
Many cellar doors have undergone drastic changes during the pandemic, and the winner of the Best Large Cellar Door category, Mount Langi Ghiran, is no exception.
"I suspect it's the same story for a lot of us in this region," Mount Langi Ghiran general manager Damien Sheehan said.
"During the pandemic, we had to make changes.
"When we reopened to the public, all tasting had to be seated.
"In the past, that wasn't an option, but now we've stuck with that, and it's a more relaxed atmosphere.
"Along with that, we've developed quite a few options for people.
"We have our premium wine tasting, and a lot of food options we didn't have before."
Mr Sheehan said there have also been structural changes.
"We've developed the cellar door with how we seat people inside and outside," he said.
There is little sign of things slowing either, as Mr Sheehan said Mount Langi Ghiran is benefiting from the upswing in tourism.
"It's not just the demographic that comes to the Grampians, has been here before, and know the region pretty well," he said.
"Now that restrictions have lifted and people are able to travel to other places, it seems just about everyone is coming to the region."
Like Mount Langi Ghiran, Fallen Giants is a past recipient of renowned wine critic James Halliday's coveted five-star rating.
Its cellar door is located just east of Halls Gap, giving it an impressive view of the Grampians.
Best's Great Western won the Best Additional Cellar Door Experience category, with its cellar door guests able to tour the 1860s cellars, which were hand-dug by miners.
Mountainside Wines won the Cellar Door with Best Accommodation category for its Blue House.
Pomonal Estate claimed Cellar Door with Best Food.
