I moved to Stawell about six years ago with my family, so I didn't really have much of a choice.
But I have stayed here because of the environment. The whole club comes together throughout the week and it is a great place to play sport.
Who do you see as your toughest opponent and why?
I'm not sure, I have played against some tough players during my juniors. Probably in the under-14s it was Tate Fennell, he was so much bigger than me and I always had to match up on him.
In under-17s it was probably Matt White for Lakers, he was built and was another who was bigger than me.

What makes you get out of bed on those days where it's not likely to reach 10 degrees and hasn't stopped raining in days?
I just love it, love playing footy.
When its wet and rainy the ball is always on the ground and because I am small I play better in those conditions.
Who do you rate the most around the club?
Scott Carey is the best players and the best bloke around the club.
He always has time to talk to the juniors and help them with their footy. He is always talking to us about what and how we can improve.
He is also great around the club. He is always volunteering and giving his time and encouraging others to do the same.
What is the greatest piece of advice you have received as a player?
Benny Leong gave me a good piece of advice on the weekend actually, he reminded me just to take my time when I go into a contest.
He said just to make sure you use those last couple of steps to assess what's going on, then attack.
