With the generous support of people and businesses Peter Bullock, Sarah Ryan and Michael McKerron have raised well over $8,000 for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation after they shaved their heads on Friday.
Peter Bullock, who has gone clean shaven for the first time in seven years, said the decision to shave their heads and faces was as much about raising awareness for cancer testing as it was for raising funds.
"We were absolutely overwhelmed by it, all the donations, it was incredible," he said.
"Between the three of us we raised over $8,000, which was incredible, it really was.

"It was about raising awareness as much as it was about raising the funds.
"We have a friend who got diagnosed with cancer and we were sitting around one night and we thought why don't we try and raise awareness.
"That was a lot of the reason behind it, to raise awareness and to take notice of everyone to get a check and dodge a bullet hopefully.
"But that was as much of the reason for doing as the actual fund raising. So that was what we wanted to raise awareness and do the test when it is your time."
Mr Bullock said he was committed to raising awareness about cancer testing and encouraging others to complete their tests.
It came after one of his own tests helped detect his own pre-cancerous health scare before it was too late.
OTHER NEWS:
There was a strong turnout of people who came to watch the trio get shaved, with the money raised almost doubling on the night.
Mr Bullock said it felt different to have a clean shaven face and he had one particular business to thank.
"It is probably not the right time of the year to be doing, but it is a bit different especially having a big beard for the last three and half years," he said.
"One donor put in $1000, I was trying to raise money to keep my beard and they were trying to raise money to take my beard."
The trio thanked Dickens Ag owners Jeremy and Kacey Dickens who donated the $1000 to seal the deal.
