Their senior side faced a tough, early season test as they travelled to Harcourt, but were defeated by 136 points.
Navarre were competitive in the first quarter, holding Harcourt to just 23 points, but the young and skillful Harcourt side got on top and ran away with the contest.
Despite the tough day Josh and Jayden Fowkes battled hard along with Louis Hannett.
Navarre will be hoping for an improved round two performance with the comforts of home, as they host Lexton.
Lexton got their season away strongly with a 40 point win over Talbot, meaning Navarre will have their work cut out if they want to get onto the winner's list.
