In 2020 ANZAC Day looked different for many people with official ceremonies cancelled as Australia was placed into a COVID-19 lockdown, but many people to observed the day from their homes.
But in 2021 residents will be able to return for services at the Stawell War Memorial in the heart of town.
Stawell RSL president Graeme Cox said there will be a dawn and morning service, but no march like as in previous years.

"The dawn service which is on at 6am will be going ahead," he said. "The march that is usually on at 10:45am is not on and then there is the main service is at 11am."
Mr Cox said the march had to be cancelled because more volunteers were needed to help run the day.
He also said to be back running ANZAC ceremonies was important to honour those who have served Australia.
"We have had thousands leave from Stawell to do their bit for our country and we still have some leaving and this is how we honour them," he said.

Mr Cox said all services will be COVID-safe events which will require people to register their name and telephone number for tracing purposes.
Anyone who would like to lay a wreath or attend the services can register by calling the Stawell RSL on 03 5358 3588 for assistance.
They can also submit their details at the Stawell RSL's office and they are selling badges near IGA and at the council shop in Main Street.
