In 2019 Navarre struggled, going winless and finishing last on the ladder of playing teams.
But A Grade coaches Krystal Browne and Trish Martin are hoping for some significant improvement leading into their round one clash against Harcourt on Saturday, April 17.
"I think we are still focussed on development and bringing that group together, but there is a part of me that wants to dream a bit bigger," Browne said. "I am a bit excited to see what this particular team will do this year.
"The competition is pretty mix in the MCDFNL, so I am quietly looking forward to really testing out this current outfit that we have got.

"I think it will take a while for us to gel, but as it stands each player has a really good set of skills and can really hold their own and so I am optimistic for the season ahead."
The club has lost Melita Squire and Sophie and Georgia Bibby, who have moved away for work and university commitments, but they have landed some big signatures.
Hayley and Sadie Reading have both joined the club after previously playing with Navarre, then Rupanyup in the HDFNL.
OTHER NEWS:
The club has also added Bonnie Weir and Grace Long.
In particular, Browne is looking forward to seeing Saddie Redding rejoin the club on the court.
"She has exceptional leadership and I have seen that develop as one of our juniors through to now where she is one of our more senior players," she said.
"She is really dynamic and versatile and she will start as our GA, but she may be one we can rotate through the mid-court if we need."
