The club aimed to bolster its ranks with recruits during the off-season and has had an extensive pre-season to help build fitness and integrate the new players.
Club president Nic Byrne said he was delighted with the state of the club.
"We're really happy with the netball. We were struggling for numbers and Angela Brain, our netball coordinator, and I put a lot of effort into ringing people and getting some leads about players who might be interested," he said.

"Those girls have been committed to pre-season and to the club, which is great.
"We've got enough players to fill the three senior teams. It's all positive at this stage."
Among the recruits was SMW Rovers new A Grade coach Courtney Guy.
Guy said she was similarly pleased with how the team was developing ahead of the new season.

"We're starting to gel together, which is great," she said.
"They've worked very hard and been very focused during training.
"We're such a versatile team. It's going to be handy being able to change seamlessly through each quarter."
In recent years, SMW Rovers have consistently been close to a spot in the finals without ever making the top five.

Their past five seasons have seen them finish seventh, sixth, sixth, eighth, and eighth.
Guy said she is hopeful the netball team can break the status quo in 2021.
"I think for the netballers to lift and bring a new atmosphere is exactly what the club needs," she said.
"We've got so many new netballers across all three grades, and they're all very excited to be at the club.
"We've become really close already. It's been really positive so far."
