A 40-year old man has been arrested and charged after an alleged hit and run accident in Stawell in March.

The Stawell Times-News reported police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged hit-run collision which occurred along Colquhoun Street about 7pm on Sunday, March 7.
Northern Grampians Crime Investigation Unit Detective Senior Constable Malcolm Wineberg said police have arrested a man in relation to the incident.
"Detectives from the Northern Grampians Crime Investigation Unit, Horsham CIU and the Western Region crime squad have executed a search warrant at a Wakeham Street address in Stawell," he said.

Police said the man was charged with intentionally causing serious injury, reckless conduct endangering life, failing to stop at the scene of an accident where a person was injured, disqualified driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The man was remanded to the Horsham Magistrates' Court.
