The school was victim to an alleged vandalisation of the beloved cubbyhouse, rendering the play equipment unusable and forcing the school to dip into the budget to pay for the damaged.
Stawell Police senior sergeant Tevis Wright said police are calling on anyone with information to come forward.
"The cubby house has damage to it's window and it looks like some kind of physical force has been used and this has caused the window to split from its hinges," he said.
"This has damaged the woodwork and the framework of the cubby house. If anyone has any information or saw anyone in the school grounds between those times, please contact Constable Lauren Cole or they can make a report through Crime Stoppers."
