Grampians Youth Events FreeZa youth chair Taia Hayter said the group were hoping the day of food and music will see around 100 people at Cato Park.
"For pretty much all of us, we had a Harmony Day event in primary school and we love the idea of bring more and more diversity, and more and more promotion of diversity to the town," she said.
"Harmony Day is an opportunity to learn about different cultures, promote diversity and invite harmony between everyone in the community.

"We are hoping for a lovely picnic outside and everyone will have their own area to eat and talk."
SPACi will also be setting up a musical area where people can bring their instruments, sing and share more about their culture.
"It is hard to put an exact number on the amount of people going but we are hoping we will have 20 different groups of people at the event," she said.
"We have spent a few months on this. I registered the event as soon as I could, so we have lots of Harmony Day goodies to give out."
OTHER NEWS:
This is one of many events FreeZa are planning for the year, with Ms Hayter looking forward to spending more of her time volunteering.
"I love volunteering and I love spending my time in a group of young people," she said.
"And as a senior member of the group I feel I can really help our group develop skills and I love making events happen that engage more and more people every time we have an event."
