A good crowd witnessed some brilliant bowls from both sides, as the grand final went down to the last innings.
Ararat VRI held their nerve to defeat Stawell Golf 68 to 65.
The lead had changed hands throughout the evening, with Stawell Golf at one point leading 46 to 36. Only a few innings later Ararat VRI would reclaim the lead, but Stawell Golf was remained within a few points of their competitors right up to the 75th innings.

The Division Two final between Stawell and Stawell Golf was similarly close, with Stawell eventually winning 66 to 59.
Stawell Golf had led 57 to 48 towards the closing stages, but Stawell left its best bowling to last, with a series of exceptional innings earning them the victory.
The grand final had initially been scheduled to take place the day before but was postponed due to rain.
