TeAra Harmer was walking across Cato Park after an earlier appointment, and was going to put her five month-old son on the swing when she saw the sharp object on the ground.
"The thing is they also have the sharps container in the toilet block right there, but for them to be doing that down there is pretty bad," she said.

OTHER NEWS:

Ms Harmer said she hoped people did the right thing in the future, but also wanted more cleaning practises put in place to help protect kids at the park.
"I think there needs to be a good clean of the park because there might be more in there," she said.
"I think there needs to be a good clean up every week because you never know."
