Stawell Police are searching for more information to try and track down a stolen scooter.

In an appeal to the public, Stawell Police said they believed the scooter was stolen from a Stawell Primary School bike rack between 9am Thursday, February 18 and 9am on Friday, February 19.
The scooter is predominately black, with an electric purple and blue finish.

It also has black grips, with a little blue through them and two black wheels.
If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of the scooter contact senior constable Oakley at the Stawell Police Station on 03 5358 8239 and quote incident number 210064100.
The theft comes after Stawell Police also arrested a man who allegedly stole more than $1000 in personal belongings.
The accused has been arrested and has been remanded into custody after it is alleged he stole the items between 9.30pm on Wednesday, February 24, and 10am on Thursday, February 25 from a vehicle on Smith Street in Stawell.
