The Small Towns Big Sound tour will also visit regional cities such as Ballarat and Castlemaine and smaller townships such as Koroit.
The tour is inspired by the Australian pub rock of the late 70s, where prominent artists would visit all manner of venues.
It is held in partnership with the Transport Accident Commissions Youth Communications Program Vanessa.
The program aims to give young people the tools to make safe road decisions.
OTHER NEWS:
Transport Accident Commission's engagement senior manager Meg Jacobs said staff would be present at the events to help people stay safe.
"We want everyone at Small Town Big Sound events to have a great time, but more importantly we want everyone to make good choices and get home safely," she said
"If you're planning to have a drink, then planning a safe way home should be top priority and our Vanessa staff will be there to help you do that, and provide free breath tests."
The proceeds from the tour will to Humanitix, a charity seeking to close the education gap for Indigenous Australians.
