Stawell SES deputy controller Brody Stewart said they received a call for help from Ambulance Victoria at 12:30pm Friday afternoon to assist with an injured hiker in the Wonderland Area of the Grampians National Park.
Officers are still on scene as a helicopter is required to come in to help rescue the injured hiker from the rugged terrain.

The hiker has suffered non-serious lower leg injuries.
Mr Stewart said the helicopter was required due to the difficulty in trying to move and injured hiker out of the area.
"It is a lot safer for the rescuers and the person for them to get winched out and then most likely taken to Halls Gap to a road ambulance," he said.
Mr Stewart said there are six officer still at the scene assisting with the rescue of the hiker.
