Members of the public have become concerned about hoon behaviour and burnouts in parts of town during February, causing police to further look into the issue.

Circles of tyre marks and bits of discarded rubber can be seen strewn all over the road near Cooper and Grant streets, with community members becoming concerned about the activity.
Acting Senior Sergeant Eddie Malpas said residents had been reporting the behaviour and encouraged the public to help with their further enquiries.
"Hoon behaviour has been reported by people within the town and we are actively making enquiries in regards to reports of such behaviour," he said.

"Local police are well aware of the main or more common areas at which offences are committed and are actively tasking resources to those areas.
"I encourage people to make official reports in regards to such instances, particularly if they can provide details that will assist police in identifying offenders.
"Stawell Police are working alongside the Northern Grampians Highway Patrol to tackle this issue."
Stawell Police have made a concerted effort to engage with residents about community safety issues by encouraging people to complete their community survey.
The six-week survey, aimed at giving residents a place to share their community safety concerns, is currently at its halfway point and closes on March 15, with around 200 people completing the survey so far.
