Stawell Golf Club crowned their annual winners on Saturday with Tim Coffey claiming yet another club championship.

Coffey won by a handy margin on his way to his fifth club championship in as many tries.
After the first 18 holes of the championships, Coffey was sitting pretty with a one-shot lead, but with the pressure on Coffey showed his classed and pulled away from the pack for a commanding win.
The second round of the day, combined with a baking heat left his rivals struggling, while Coffey claimed held firm to win by 13 shots.
Other winners across the weekend included Mick Sullivan who claimed the A Grade Handicap win.
In the B Grade, Jeff Savage was named the Scratch and Handicap Champion as he claimed his first golfing championship win after 48 years playing the game.
Scott Fletcher was also a big winner across the weekend as he claimed the C Grade Scratch and Handicap Championship, as well as being named the the Laurie Evans Memorial winner.

In the ladies competition, Kaylene Cameron was the scratch winner and Joan MacPherson claimed the handicap win.
The golf club's championship event usually runs across three weekends and 54 holes, but after Victoria's snap lockdown, the format of the event was changed.
The first 18 holes had already been played on Saturday February 6, but with the scheduled February 13 round cancelled due to the lockdown, the club organised a 36 hole day for the leading contenders.
