Stawell police have provided an update on the Western Highway fire which ignited near Deep Lead on Friday evening.
Stawell Police said described the fire and "non-suspicious" and are searching for more information about the incident.
Acting Sergeant Shane Pettingill said on Friday February 19 fire services attended a non suspicious fire near Western Highway and Codds Flat intersection in Deep Lead involving a fallen tree and motorcycle".
"The fire was contained to small area and extinguished.
"Stawell Police are conducting inquiries in relation to owner of motorcycle.
"If known, report any information about the incident to Stawell Police or Crimestoppers."

A fire has ignited just north of Stawell along the Western Highway with the CFA and police called to put out the blaze.
Residents in Stawell could hear sirens as emergency services were called out at 7:53pm on Friday night to the tree fire in Deep Lead.

One truck with multiple CFA officers and one police car with a couple of officers were on the scene.
A number of passerby's had also stopped to help, and it appeared one motorist helped extinguish the fire by pulling his vehicle close and using a water tank and hose on the back of his ute to help put out the small blaze.

The fire was swiftly put out, with emergency services cleaning up the scene at 8:45pm and starting to investigating the cause of the fire.
