The Stawell Rifle Club successfully applied for funding from the program last year, and they have now been able purchase a new water tank.
The Stawell Rifle Club said "we would like to thank the Ararat Wind Farm for generously paying for a 27,000 litre water tank".
The water tank will help the club and its members by ensuring they will not run out of water when campers use the range.

Over the last few years the Ararat Wind Farms has delivered up to $10,000 in individual grants are thanks to the Ararat Wind Farm Sustainable Community Grants program.
The program which is administered by Ararat Rural City Council, provides $5000 grants for smaller projects and $10,000 grants for larger projects with matching funding, with $65,000 in total funds available in 2020.
In 2019, 17 different community organisations received funding through the program.
The grants aim to provide financial support to promote social and environmental sustainability initiatives for the benefit of the communities within the of Ararat, Northern Grampians and the Pyrenees municipalities.
