The Stawell Neighbourhood House is preparing to host its annual International Women's Day dinner celebration, but more volunteers are wanted.
The dinner is scheduled for Friday 12 March, where the achievements, stories and leadership of Stawell's women will be celebrated.
Stawell Neighbourhood House volunteer Dianne Stewart said the night had been incredibly successful in previous years and wants this year to be the same.
"The dinner has been really successful in the past, attracting a full house every time with everyone really enjoying themselves," she said.
"I am very proud to be a part of organizing this event."
A highlight of the night is a number of guest speakers, including the Member for Ripon Louise Staley, who will share stories of leadership, achievement and challenges faced in the last year.
Each year Stawell Neighbourhood House and a small team of volunteers come together to organize and host the event, and with a big night planned, more volunteers are needed.
Tasks such as creating marketing materials, supporting local speakers and helping to organize the event are all required so ensure the night goes off with a bang.
Volunteers are encouraged to join and help, in whatever capacity.
With meetings held in person and virtually, those interested in joining can do so in whatever way.
