SPACi's activities were heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic during 2020 which meant events could not be held.
It was hoped in 2021 events can be delivered under the new COVID-Safe guidelines meaning SPACi can again support local people able to perform, sing, dance, act and provide entertainment in our local community.
Stawell Performing Arts Company is a volunteer run, not for profit incorporated association so relies on the commitment of local people to build and support a culture of local performances.
OTHER NEWS:
SPACi is calling out to their members, current past and anyone new to get involved by attending the planning session this Sunday at the Stawell Golf Club and help decide what events can be delivered in 2021.
Organisation president Dianne Stewart said this was a chance for people to say what they would like to have on the calendar for 2021.
"We were all starved of community activities in 2020, it would be great to have regular events in 2021 that the community can get involved in," she said.
"The planning day will be the first in person event for 2021 and building on their experience of 2020 people will also be able to attend over the internet via zoom.
"If you would like to link in with zoom, would like a link to complete a short online survey or are unable to attend the planning day but would still like to be involved please contact the committee by emailing spaci@outlook.com."
