Nominats close at 12 noon on Tuesday January 19.
Those who are interested in nominating for the role need to be over the age of 18, are an Australian citizen are enrolled on the voters' roll for the Council; and are not disqualified from being a councillor.
The by-election will be held in February after the resignation of Councillor-elect Karen Joy Hyslop in 2021.

Voting in the by-election will take place in February and will be completed via post.
Ballot packs will be sent out to enrolled voters from Tuesday 2 February to Thursday 4 February.
The ballot pack will have attached statements and photographs lodged by the candidates, a ballot paper envelope with a flap and a reply-paid envelope.
