Mt Victory Road, between Halls Gap and Reed Lookout, will be closed from Monday, February 8 to Friday, February 12 while maintenance works are carried out.

The works require closure of the road due to the significant volume of heavy vehicles that will travel the route and help complete the works.
The re-sealing works will result in a smoother, safer journey for the community.

Access to some parts of the Grampians National Park will be limited while the road is closed.
The main sites impacted by the road closure are:
- Wonderland Carpark
- Sundial Carpark
- Boroka Lookout
- Mt Rosea Carpark
- Stony Creek Camp
- MacKenzie Falls (from Halls Gap)
- Zumsteins (from Halls Gap)
The alternative route to get to Wartook, MacKenzie Falls and Zumsteins is to drive Mt Zero Road to Roses Gap and back along Roses Gap Road.
During works heavy vehicles will be travelling through the Halls Gap township, predominantly between Mt Victory Road and Grampians Road to the north side of Halls Gap, and using the parking area adjacent to the Grampians Road-Mt Zero Road intersection as a collection point for materials.
