A bushfire near the Henty Highway at Brimpaen is now under control, after vehicles and aircraft worked to contain the blaze.

A Country Fire Authority spokesperson said crews would remain at the scene for some time to mop up and black out the site.
The spokesperson said the fire had burned 70 hectares after starting at approximately 1.30pm on Monday.
26 vehicles were at one stage responding to the fire.
