Trevor Gready will represent the South West Ward after winning a by-election.
The by-election came after incumbent Jason Hosemans stepped aside and nobody nominated for the single-member ward before the 2020 Victorian Local Government Elections.
Three candidates later nominated for the position: Terence Robertson, Trevor Errol Gready and Rosalind Byass.
The by-election was conducted entirely by post.
Mr Gready joins Kevin Erwin, Tony Driscoll, Lauren Dempsey, Murray Emerson and Rob Haswell on council.
Cr Emerson was re-elected as mayor of the shire earlier in November.
A by-election in Kara Kara Ward will be conducted after Karen Hyslop resigned.
