Bendigo Bank executive corporate affairs Alexandra Gartmann said while the grants program concentrates on boosting recovery of bushfire impacted communities, the bank is committed to medium- and long-term community restoration.
"As communities across the country approach the first anniversary of the Black Summer Bushfires, it's critical we continue to offer support for recovery," Ms Gartmann said.
"We know from our extensive past experience that the recovery from a disaster of this magnitude will take many months and years.
"It's very much a marathon, not a sprint."
Bendigo Bank's national and state-based bushfire appeals have raised more than $46 million.
Funds raised by more than 145,000 donors have been distributed to organisations working with local communities including The Salvation Army, BlazeAid, Centre Against Violence and The Australian Lions Foundation.
Grant applications will be open until Friday, December 11 and can be submitted online at communityenterprisefoundation.com.au
