The club has struggled to meet up during the year, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But club president Marie Hosking said despite the competition a little different to past years, it was 'wonderful' to be able to still do something so residents could share in the festive cheer.
"It's a whole of community event," she said.
"It's not just for the people who put up the lights, it's for all those who go and look and just celebrate in the joy.
"It's a very COVID-19 safe activity as well."

Mrs Hosking said there wouldn't be as many categories as previous years, just a first second and third prize.
"We haven't been able to do any fundraising this year so normally we would have eight prizes but this year we will only be having three," she said.
"We've been a bit limited but the prize winner will get a trophy and a voucher for Mitre 10.
"People need to see that there is still Christmas and all that it means after the year we've had."
In past years, the members of the Lions club would take a bus trip around the town to see the lights and voting would be done on the night.
This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic voting will take place over a week and the Lions club members will collate their votes before announcing the winner.
"No one is overly comfortable being squashed together on a bus," Mrs Hosking said.
"We will collate all the entries and let our members know the properties which have entered. Members will have a week to go around and have a look."
Entry forms can be found at Stawell Library of the shire offices.
